They were the most condescending bunch I have ever seen.

5. A funny anecdote
Lots of the Repub women were wearing fur coats. Personally I don't care either way about using fur, but in a protest like we had, there were a lot of anti-fur people out (go figure). So one woman wearing a white fur coat and Texas-sized big hair was going in, and one of the protesters yelled out "You're supporting genocide tonight! And hairspray!"

the 500 protestors that were there that day! /sarcasm off

10. Actually, credit Miami Independent Media Center
Scorp and I got to talking to one of their correspondents outside the Freedom Ball, she had been taking pix all day. Scorp didn't want his though-I assume because of work. Myself, I no longer am a government cog, so it don't matter no more.

11. Thanks so much.
I will never understand the heartlessness of how these people can party while while working and middle class men and women's lives are being destroyed so they can make money on their oil investments. Iraq and Iran have nothing to do with freedom. Look what has been done in this country. It is about oil, always has been, always will be. How many millionaire's kids and Harvard and Yale grads are in Iraq? The rest of us are expendable. As Barbara Bush said, why would she want to waste her beautiful mind thinking about death and body bags. Pretty much sums up the neocon philosophy. Cheney had other priorities during Viet Nam. He still has other priorities now and they don't include working toward a peaceful world.

12. I like this one

This guy takes his gramma in her wedding dress and it looks like she outgrew last year's fur. Some pictures also have the little red devil eyes, which is a nice touch.
