We need to redirect our fire away from bush and to the GOP
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 10:38 AM by nomad1776
bush will be gone in 4 years. We will waste our time targetting him and his administration. We need to concentrate our fire on the GOP and conservatives.

2. Exactly..Bush is untouchable but other GOP'ers are not
If we focused on the harm and mismanagement of the budget by the GOP congress we COULD turn the tide...remember..the president PROPOSES the budget..CONGRESS actually appropriates.

4. Thats a good idea.
I don't know how attached Bush voters are to the republican party, but they are definately attached to Bush. If we attack the GOP rather than Bush we might make some progress.

5. Not necessarily true.
Let's not forget what bringing down Nixon in his second term did to the GOP.

9. Because Carter wasn't able to pull us out
of the economic quagmire created by the Nixon administration. The point is that Carter won easily because Nixon was brought down. Bring down the leader and the party goes with it.

6. I think we need to associate all pukes with failed bush*Co policy
Hang his war, deficits, debt and religious fundamentalism around their necks. Label them all as neocon ideologues the same way the pukes have tried to tag dems as bleeding heart liberals.

8. That's killing hundreds of birds with one stone.
Make them either split with Bush expressly or bear his failures. In fact, since Bush's cult of personality has pretty much put him beyond our reach, it is the only thing to do.

12. If you want to attack the bush
be sure to refer to him as a republican the lead republican etc. bush is here for 4 years like it or not. We can be more productive attacking his party then the man.
