In Crawford, the pResident has refused to see TWO people
Edited on Sat Aug-06-05 11:12 PM by txindy
Important people. The grieving mother of a dead American soldier, killed in Iraq, and a triple-amputee former Senator of the United States, injured while on active duty for the United States military in Vietnam.

Cindy Sheehan and Max Cleland.

It was August 25th last year when Cleland came out to Crawford in blistering hot weather exactly like this and was turned away. Again, exactly like this. The media needs to emphasize that. What is our brave commander-in-chief afraid of? Who is he hiding from? Why won't he take time from his five-week vacations and talk to these brave Americans who have suffered so much for their country?

Cindy Sheehan and Max Cleland.

Junior is a true coward.

Members of the media have seen this play out the same way twice in two years.

EMPHASIZE THIS!!

3. This time last year
Remember the scene? It was like watching it all over again on television tonight when the images from Crawford were on the news. Junior has to stop getting away with this. If Cindy and Cleland can't see him, who can? He's on vacation!! The brush can wait!

4. Why is Bush afraid to face a Gold Star mother?
People may not know who Cindy Sheehan is, but everyone who has seen old movies knows what a Gold Star mother is.

5. He's on vacation. He worked so hard, so hard.
He can't be bothered by reality of war. He's got brush to clear, and fish to catch in his patio stocked pond.

11. My email sent to the WH
Mr. pResident,

I learned that Cindy Sheehan and the people with her are being made to walk
and sleep in a ditch by the side of that road in Texas. Shame on you, Bush.
Shame on you, your family and your administration.

I also learned that your Secret Service people are driving past these people
too close and over the speed limit to intimidate them. Shame on you and your
bully boy tactic. You aren't worthy to fan her face under the Texas sun.

Mrs. Sheehan lost her son to your ugly war waged out of your lies. And
you're afraid of her truth, her strength and her ability to love.

My Name
My Town, State

13. The Chimp wont leave his ranch
He wouldnt give up any vacation time back in 2001 when there was mounting evidence the country was going to face a massive attack.

As others have said here.... Chimpy is a coward. He cant face anyone. Nothing but adoring Repukes at every speech and rally.

Looks more and more like many Americans are getting sick of him and his lies though.

14. What Cindy is doing now will help get that point across even more
The people who have that sickening feeling developing right now will realize that it is far worse than they had first thought and that the coward in the WH is not nice/likeable/brave/determined/whatever. He's just a coward without a conscience.
