LEESBURG - If you're a city slicker, you may only have seen them at Busch Gardens or Disney's Animal Kingdom.
But Ankole cattle … a k a Watusis … also have found a home among breeders who want to preserve the ancient animals.
Peter Strimenos is one of their fans.
He began raising the African breed in the mid-1990s, a decade after being introduced to them at the Tampa theme park.
