SUGGESTION QUICKLY for whoever is going to /in Crawford.

Dosen't someone have a laptop/reg computer and a computer camera? How about a live feed so if anything happens there are THOUSANDS of witnesses????Helloooooo. If someone needs some specific contribution for this I will do so (having already given at the other site) I can't afford much but those cameras don't cost that much.

Batteries will be the big problem though. Mine sucks batteries dry fast.

7. I would either need a supply of extra batteries (expensive), a
battery charger or a link to someone's car battery, if that's possible.

Wish I could help ya... try the mfg online. Look on the bottom of the battery for info. Sometimes you can get a generic.

5. Many, many people need to carry some form of camera.
Video, digital, throw-away, computer. There needs to be a visual history of this spontaneous outpouring no matter what happens. If you are going, take a camera of some sort (even if you have to buy a cardboard camera at Walgreen's).

8. Absolutely -- it is VITAL to have plenty of cameras to document
any and all misconduct by the authorities. More cameras than people would NOT be a bad idea. Have extras.

when I was there in Sunday I had mentioned it and I think TexasLady from DU stated she had a laptop with built in sprint pcs...

but it's looking like that is going to be prohibitivly expensive. No one has wifi for sure and we're not even sure about the powering possibilities. Keep in touch and right now I'm kinda pinning my hopes on Will Pitt....

27. Damn, I wish I was going!
I've got an Apple laptop, now all I need are a couple of days off work, a Southwest flight to Austin, and an iSight camera. Sadly, I do not have the cash for the last two things.
