An update on the nut who assaulted me outside Planned Parenthood.

Some of you probably saw my post this afternoon, about the wingnut who assaulted me when I was walking by a Planned Parenthood in Boston.

Now, when I say assault, I mean the creep grabbed my arm. Not being a delicate flower, this did not hurt. However, people who would grab at a woman walking past a PP might do a lot worse to the people inside, so I will make a big deal about this.

Well, an update. After kicking myself for not kicking him, or pressing charges, I went back to PP after work, filed an incident report and met w/ a Boston Police Officer. This man now has a file with the police, and they will be keeping an eye on him.

gee.. I sure hope he doesn't have a busted taillight...

Also, I wanted to assure you that I personally thanked the security guard, and gave him a hug!

If they can keep the freak away..think of the woman who may get out of an abusive relationship or not kill herself because she got to make the choice for her body.

Just looking in this guys eyes, I could tell he was someone who valued the life of a fetus over that of a live woman.

kids about birth control and working with science to come up with a man pill - more vasectomies - etc. That is what he can do to save fetus.

Instead they try and ban birth control. And the 'day after' pill.

doing more serious damage to someone. It gives the authorities a place to start from to corral a person who has likely been a thorn in many sides.

And thank you so much for letting the guard know you appreciated his quick response. We are sometimes very quick to complain about things. I have always tried to make a point of trying to be as quick about praise too. It makes the world a nicer place. And you never know, sometimes that little bit of encouragement to a stranger can make a world of difference to another life.

Glad you are OK and followed through. It is WAY past time for masses of us to take stands against bullies of all sorts. Together we can make them shape up or crawl back under their rocks!

If this guy ever ends up in front of a judge, it's important to be able to show a PATTERN of such behavior.

I'm glad you did this. That security guard was awesome, also.

The PP people had run ins with him before. He followed a woman on foot, and she called 911.

but it's right for the police to have a file so that the incidents pile up before he goes and does something really injurious.
