You join the ranks of the Right Wing smear media in my book tonight.
Wondering why you didn't add the little tad of information that Ankarlo is a professional newsman who is trying to ride the story of Cindy Sheehan like Rush Limbaugh rode Bill Clinton?
Why didn't you mention that he had organized a paltry counter protest to Cindy over the weekend?
Just curious why you kept mentioning that this was fair and balanced...who were you trying to fool?

I am going to send one, too. Anderson Cooper sucks! Last week he had on his website that he was going to have the whole show dedicated to her and he did not even show her at all. He had some b.s. about the meaning of our dreams instead! I wrote him an email then and I guess, after tonights Cindy smear campaign, I will write him another one. What else could we expect from Gloria Vanderbilt's son born with a silver spoon in his mouth and does not have a clue about normal people in this country.

I didn't know he was GV's son.
And to think--with the money I invested in GV jeans in the 80's I probably paid for the stupid little fucks diapers at one point.:puke:

I was so goshdamn furious about his failure to identify that hate-mongering, right-wing, radio hack, I had to say something. :grr:

excuse what they did. Did you notice how nervous he was through it all -- and how relatively relaxed and quite benigh during the previously taped Reporter's Notebook segment where he appeared sympathetic to those at the camp? CNN took a brave (for them!) step (imagine all the hate mail from the other side!) having a whole show from Crawford, so they decided they needed to compensate -- and a lot. They obviously disgustingly overdid it. I do not remember as many (or any, for that matter!) anti-war people on shows discussing the build-up to the war. Whether it was his decision to tip the balance as crudely as he did it, or that of his superiors, I don't know -- and, in the long run, it hardly matters.

Having said that, I do think for Cindy at this point any publicity is good publicity because it does mean she struck a nerve, and struck it big. Both Buchanan and Fineman (not your usual sympathetic cast of pundits) admitted as much on Hardball, talking about her as symbol of something much larger that was going on in the country. The were actually the best part of Hardball while Nora O'Donnell, a supposed Democrat Breaux, and a supposed liberal Hitchens were absolutely revolting.

I think a lot of our emails get deleted because we mark "negative".I am going to try and check "positive"...and see if I finally get a response from CNN.(I email them frequently)

I usually mark positive because I always have that fear that they would delete something marked negative. This time I was so livid that I screwed up and hit the negative button.

I think I will post my letter again, this time as positive.

How utterly disappointing. Most of what was said by anti-war protesters was challenged by you, while you let a right-wing radio hack (Ankarlo) unchallenged when he spewed his hateful lies! Letting him assert that Cindy Sheehan is responsible for the killing of American soldiers because of her protesting Bush's war without any challenge??? Did Fox News buy off CNN? You didn't even bring up that he was a right-wing radio shill? I used to like watching your show because I thought it is one of the less biased one. Not anymore.

Your show tonight from Camp Casey was anything but fair & balanced. It was a smear job that smelled as though it was written by Rove.

In all of the mentioning of "left-wing" groups that are there with Cindy, you never mentioned that Cindy is a co-founder of the group Gold Star Families For Peace. There are others military families that are standing with Ms Sheehan, but you would not know that from your piece. Also, Veterans for Peace is also represented in Camp Casey. Why no mention of these groups? Instead you regurgitated every rw attack point.

Fair & balanced would have mentioned some truths about these "bush supporters" that have yet to be mentioned in the MSM.

Point: Last week-end the so-called "bush supporters" came in on a chartered bus (paid for by whom?) They chanted at Ms Sheehan "we don't care" for most of the half of an hour that they were there. That is right. They were only there long enough for a photo-op of them waving flags for AP. While waiting for the cameras to get in place they engaged in taunting a grieving mother and other grieving families. After the photo-op they all climbed on the bus and left...all in under an hour. Why hasn't CNN told that truth?

Point: Larry Northern, the *man* who vandalized a memorial to the fallen and desecrated many US flags. I cannot even begin to imagine if that had been someone on the left doing the same at one of those anti-woman's rights rallies. You and others would have microphones in every Democrats face demanding to know if that act represented the Democratic Party. You know full well I am speaking the truth. Why has no one asked bush to denounce these illegal and violent acts? Why?

There is so much more I could write, but why waste my time. I mourn for what is happening to our Country. I mourn the death of a free press. I sit in tears as I write this, not that it means a damn thing to you.
