Talk Radio Jocks Show Desperation re Plame-gate

They are throwing everything including the kitchen sink at critics of the White House on this issue. This shows how desperate they are. Talk radio is a good marker of how this will go; if the White House had a good defense on the Plame scandal, one thing is certain: talk radio jocks like Limbaugh and Hannity would have GOP or White House talking points that are strong. Becasue they have to dissemble indicates to me that Bush and campany are hiding something. Again, this is big.

It's depressing for one to think how many millions of ignorants sit in their tiny apartments and agree with these purveyors of political porn. I used to feel sorry for the stupid bastards that repeat their crap, but now all I have is disgust for their inability to see through the obvious and their foolish defence of the reprehensible.

Republicans used to just annoy me; now they are actively RUINING MY LIFE, MY COUNTRY, GETTING OUR YOUNG SOLDIERS KILLED, KILLING INNOCENTS IN IRAQ. I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE.

I've heard several generic (and less popular) RW radio hacks saying that this is really, really bad and they believe heads should roll. Sorry I don't have names, but I definately heard it last night on my drive home.

Apparently, the talking points are still be manufactured and not focus group tested, yet.

Or maybe they can't explain outing a CIA operative which clearly endangers our national security.

Regardless of how this issue plays out, the contrasts between us and them are clearer, the apologists will yet again be forced to support a bunch of criminals against the best interests of this country.

Real Reublicans and conservatives are approaching their saturation point on accepting unethical behaviour of this junta and this will erode more and more of the Bush supporters.....there will be more exposes of corruption, illegal behaviour.

Eventually, only the real morons will be left defending Dimson and his war-profiteering buddies.

This week I have been working on the roof of a dome with the radio going inside. In the morning I hear Democracy Now, and in the afternoon I hear Rush L. and Sean Hannity (as much as I can stand). During the afternoon I am often unable to hear everything, but what reaches me then is the tone of Limbaugh's voice. His confidence is not what it has been. Think of the investment this guy has in this administration. His whole career has led to what is becoming a disgrace. A lot of people have demonstrated their capacity for loyalty to the 'extremist conservative' cause, and they will go down with Bush and the gang. Imagine that.
He has hated Clinton so completely for many years- but he is probably going to end up hating W. more. So he will look on the Clinton terms as the good old days. Just like we do!

well, they've gotta keep talking! There's not much they can do under the circumstances. They've just got to make the best of it. And I agree, there's not much there for them to hang onto right now. It just sounds so whiny, petty, flimsy. Talk about thin alibis: she's an analyst, not a covert spy. No one called me, I just knew psychically what had happened. No one called from the White House, that's a lie.

By far the worst radio host, when it comes to hate radio, is Michael Savage. I'm really worried about the man's mental health. You really have to feel sorry for him because he has SO much anger, SO much revile & revulsion for any nationalities besides the white folks. It's almost spooky listening to him rant and hang up on people. You can almost see the white foam of saliva running down his mouth, and his face pasty white with anger.

Over an extended period of time, listeners cannot help but become disgusted with the level of anger this man. That's when they need to turn it off and listen to pleasant music. The man is dangerous to a person's peace of mind.
