1. Maybe I got the order wrong here...

...but I believe Chavez's announcement came after Robertson's screed.

It's more like, Chavez had this plan in his back pocket and was just waiting until he got into the headline news, for any reason. Robertson gave him that opportunity, and he used it to lay down the biggest pimp-slap the BFEE has ever taken from a foreign leader.

Just wait, this will be big. Chavez just pitched a world-record speed screwball at the administration and big oil.

Make sure it hits the rumor mill everywhere you go.

after the SOB criminal made his criminal intentions "public" by violating one US law.

Who knows. If President Gore (or President Kerry) would be in office (and not on vacation...), the poor might already got a friendly deal...

4. When I was in Venezuela the gas was cheap and everybody had

a car. What is wrong with that? Doesn't Ford, GM & Chrysler talk to the oil companies? Or is Venezuela going Asia with the cars..(like the USA has for twenty years).

Over 34 million US. travelers using cars, can you fathom at $3.00 per gallon (by then) how much xtra cash that amounts too, the money brings too much power.
