You would make this frustrating effort worth it. But I will miss those days when you hear some reich winger on the radio that drives you through the roof and have the option to come here and vent it at will. I thought that this was a safe place to do that? I guess not.


Hey, I've been to Reggae on the river and have spent a little time in Arcata, down in town. I would love to live there, If I could make a living there. Maybe raise some ladies or something.

I think that I'm gonna surf property priceds in the area, see if they're anything like the bay Area. Are you going to school there?

No, I'm passed school...a class here and there is about all I do...I now find myself going to Kucinich meetings in Arcata, playing some hoop, going to the beach to run and/or read, traveling back to the city and Eugene...enjoying the Humboldt "fruits" the beauty and the people.

However if you like...there's always shit popping up here, to live and enjoy...I will let you know...it's a fabulous place.

Plenty of lovely EARTHY ladies!

18. It really is an amazing place.
The beaches are nice there when it's not 67 degrees, but perfect for running. Lots of open dunes. The people are totally kewl, they reminded me of Hawaiians in their attitudes and perspectives.

Are they still flying choppers there?

practically saved me from total insanity. I lived in a remote location with basically AM radio as my only source of media. Day in, day out, conservative garbage, until I thought the entire world had gone nuts, and I was one of maybe 10 liberals left in the world. Life was seeming pretty bleak. But KGO has a really long range after dark, and I discovered Bernie and Ray. So every night, I would listen to Bernie and Ray until I fell asleep. I live abroad now, and still listen to Bernie and Ray on the net, and am listening to Bernie right now.

After reading your post, I just got KGO to stream again after turning off some anti virus shit that I downloaded trying to get rid of a worm some weeks back. Now I can hear Bernie and Ray crystal clear again. Our house is under huge redwoods on the coast and we have terrible radio reception here.

I don't know if they mess with the radio reception, but for some reason, KGO is almost impossible to tune in.

Oh, and Reggae on the River...actually it's in French's Camp (Piercy). I worked on the stage crew for the first 15 years in a row. My all time favorites live were Alpha Blondie and Inner Circle. Quite a party indeed!

KGO used to be offered up here, (transmitter) but they stopped it.

Pretty good rally and march...5000 people, though the media reported the turnout to be hundreds(as usual). The reporters who showed up at the event had to put up with my verbal harassment(as usual, heh!).
