2. Will report. I don't know anything about Amy.
Maybe you can fill me in. Not that I don't believe you, but how is working with Keith selling your soul?

4. Aw, I will help you out
On the fouth of July Ms Robach was reading the news. There was a brief mention of an anti-war protest. Then immediatly following, there was a story about people celebrating the 4th, whom she described in leading off her story as "patriotic Americans".

I wish I had the link. I am not telling the story very well. It was very offensive. Many of us wrote letters demanding an apology, but as with all of the good neo-liars, she was promoted for her vile.

as a similar dynamic. Had a quote from Cindy. Quote from presidential historian. Quotes from 'pro-war' protestors. I wasn't impressed.

6. Did you hear that lady lie about Cindy Sheehan?
She said Cindy Sheehan thinks our country is not worth dying for!

WOW!

Those cameramen need to step back from those pro-war people and stop taking such tight shots. If they step back you can see, just as when the shot ends, that there are only a handful of pro-war people and 10 times as many people supporting Cindy Sheehan.

Lies and decption all over.

7. Yep, they skillfully use the tight shots to deceive.
The woman was repeating the latest talking point lie.

8. Yes, Cindy never said that. And why is this lady not in Iraq?
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 07:34 PM by Hissyspit
They'd take her! The military needs every warm body.

11. I believe Cindy's quote was "this country is not worth dying for"
Although, if you put the quote in context, the "this country" she was talking about was Iraq.

Frankly, though, I think you can make a very rational argument that we are all global citizens and no country (or other subset of humans) is worth dying for. John Lennon had a song that touched on some of those things.

9. The repugs have hired a public relations firm
to "swift boat" Cindy Sheehan. There's not much of a grassroots effort to counteract the peace movement but they're trying to make it appear that way.

10. Why does the news try to make the illusion that there is balance...
in the debate when there is no balance.

Almost 70% of Americans think this war was a mistake. That's about 7 in 10. When you watch TV they want you to think there are the same amount of pro-Iraq war demonstrators as anti-Iraq war.
