I guess all the problems of rebellious youth can be blamed on parents who have no access to a nanny and let their kids watch television to quiet them down. I guess they should be blamed for working fulltime and then coming home to cooking, laundry, and a thousand other tasks. The woman is unbearably ignorant of the way most parents have to live in Bush's America, a place that has been getting more and more hostile to parents and children with each GOP administration.

I think the marriage between Laura and Georgie was arranged because they were equivalent intelligences.

today - just yesterday i was thinking about laura's little "reading" schtick, wondering how anybody who loves to read so much (or likes to promote that she does) can be so friggin stupid. i think for her and others like her reading does not mean absorbing, questioning, learning from, growing from what one reads and expereincing the message of the writer, but rather to just read the words one after the other until all the pages have been turned. that's gotta be it. can you imagine being in a book discussion group with this piece of fluff?! :silly:

let's just say that when I put her mental mind up against Hillary's....well....enough said. Night and day. Every time I look at Laura, "Stepford Wives" comes to mind...I don't know why??? :7
