Why do freepers....
Ok, I was messing around on freep, and something struck me.

Why don't freeper's have to obey copyrights? Forget 4 paragraphs, they copy and paste the entire article on almost all threads. How do they get away with it?

1. The same way they get away with desecrating the flag
they don't know no better.

2. Given that the media
has swung WAY to the Right, why should they care?

5. Doesn't necessarily have to do with 'media'
it depends on what they are infringing upon. ANYONE whose copyright has been infringed can easily take some serious action.

3. They are running a very high risk.
They probably get away with it because few people can endure looking at their ugly site in order to detect these things.

There are very serious consequences, though, if it is found out by the copyright holder.

4. Suing freepers is kind of like milking a bull
Squeeze them for milk all you want, but they don't have any and it will just lead to a sticky situation.

6. One does NOT need to sue to take serious action regarding copyright
infringement.

7. Copyright is LAW. One does not need to sue
to take action. It takes some 'know how', but there are steps that can be taken for infringement of copyright law.

The site owner should be more careful.
