Wolf Blitzer's poll on WH staffers:
Should Bush administration employees take lie-detector tests as part of the CIA operative leak investigation?

Yes 81% 11810 votes

No 19% 2764 votes
Total: 14574 votes

Time to vote in the unscientific poll.

1. Lie detectors are bunk
I can't support adminstering lie detector tests for any reason.
This just reinforces the idea that they carry some validity.

4. knowing how to cheat lie detector tests is a pre-req for bush staffers....
...it was part of the pre-employment job screening.... they had to know how ot lie, cheat and steal without breaking a sweat.

7. Only a few sociopaths
...have been able to defeat the lie detector completely. You can't fake your galvanic skin responses. Sociopaths don't have any to speak of.

...er, considering who they'd be testing....maybe just leaning on all the journalists involved would be a better idea.

11. Fact is, a lie detector (polygraph) is as good at detecting lies as
a shiny new penny (flip it to determine veracity) -- but no better.

to harass the WH staffers. It serves them right just for being Repukes in that slime-doggy Administration.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the FBI went after Rove the way they did Stephen Hatfield?

13. CONTACT INFO: Bob Novak's boss needs to hear from us:

According to this article,
http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/10/01/cia.editor/index.html

"Editor Steve Huntley told CNN he does not regret publishing the July column, which has resulted in a storm of controversy over possible leaks by the Bush administration. He called columnist Robert Novak "one of the best reporters in this country" and said he was simply doing his job.

"Our job, my job, your job, Bob Novak's job, is to report the news, not to slam the door on it," Huntley told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Tuesday.
says his boss says that"

After EVERYTHING these bozzos have been hiding about Bush, what unmitigated BULLSHIT !!!! And this bozo doesn't even know the difference between a "news reporter" and a partisan "political commentator" !!!!

Don't call Huntley below because the line is swamped (!) but they say to email " Letters@Suntimes.com " so let's DO IT !
