5. Glad I scanned the posts--I was just about to ask the same question
That's one funky haircut, noticed it right away. Looks like the side piece of a pair of glasses. It MUST be intentional. Really odd-looking. I assume it's to hide a wire. Probably a transparent earwire from it goes into his left ear.
