Quick Daily news summary

OK so today's big stories are:

1.) Front page of the NYTimes has two stories about the Wilson Affair (i refuse to use any -gate moniker...this makes Watergate looks like something pulled off by cub scouts)

2.) Kay's report summary is being released which shows absolutely zero evidence of WMD in Iraq

3.) Rush Limbaugh has resigned from ESPN and is apparently involved in a narcotics ring.

4.) Women are now coming forward about Arnold Schwarzenegger committing sexual assault.

5.) Another NYT headline article about Bush asking for another $600 million to find the non-existent WMD (where they have already spent $300 million)

Can I just sing "Happy days are here again!" The media has come back to life apparently!

Michael Patterson finally told his mother-in-law-from-hell to take a hike in "For Better or For Worse!" It's GOOD day.

One of Dubya's dumbest mistakes is his tendency to do an end-zone dance while he's still on the 30-yard line. Let's get things cinched up tighter before we celebrate too much (but I'll take a quiet glass of champagne!)

One of the more important things we can do to help keep the focus on these things is to write letters to local and national media. Remind them that you are interested in these stories, and would rather hear about this than about Halle Berry's separation.
