When a Democrat supports Taiwan...

They dream of a free and independent nation ruled by a progressive coalition dominated by the Taiwanese Han majority, progressive mainlanders (they exist?), and aboriginals.

When a Republican supports Taiwan, they long for the days when they can whack off to Taiwnaese dissidents being tortured by mainlander fascists like the Chiangs and James Soong.
