Is everyone aware that we changed new rule #5?
From some of the comments, I get the sense that some people don't realize that we changed rule #5 (the duplicates rule) when we posted the rules. The new version is narrowly targeted to a particular problem, and it's much less onerous. Here's the text:

5. You may not start a new discussion thread in order to continue a current or recent flame war from another thread. The moderators have the authority to lock threads in order to contain flaming on a particular topic to only one thread at a time.

I don't think that rule necessarily applies to our political enemies....

I think it refers to calling names to candidates that might have supporters on DU...I don't think Ass0 has any friends here?? Am I wrong in this interpretation?
