Comment: She was a big deal doing real important work. They have really really put the country in direct jeapordy by outing her. Because of their vindictiveness WMD's could very well end up in the hands of terrorists. I'm not being hyperbolic.

Robert Novak identified a CIA operative in order to help Bush punish Ambassador Wilson, He should be in jail right now.
Dick Cheny should be attached to a lie detector and the 6 other "journalists" who were cold-called by the Administration should be held as material witnesses.

Considering her level of experience and authority, she was probably a recruit right out of undergrad or grad school - maybe 15-19 years in? (Speculation, I don't remember reading anything about exactly how long she's been with them - siince they're *just* acknowledging what she did, the CIA probably hadn't specified so far -- I'm betting your "30 years" recollection was from the Repugs claiming she'd been in the CIA forever and that "everybody" in the Beltway knew about it.)

This is incredibly serious - no hyperbole needed, more outrage needed. The CIA lost a huge asset in her (est 15 yrs exp.), and then, consider the amount of time put in training and placing all of her contacts who are now likely compromised. so, probably another 10-15 years per, multiplied by only the CIA knows for sure how many. For the administration who blamed its 9/11 failure on a "lack of human assets" on the ground, they sure as hell just set any progress in that area back at least A DECADE, most probably much longer. (I wonder if any of her contacts are still in place/at risk, and can't be pulled out right away?)

Her career in the CIA SPANNED 3 decade, starting in the 80's. No official ever claimed that she was in the CIA for 30 years. Some people (not you!) seize on this, twisting what one official said about 3 decades to mean 30 years and try to discredit the story based on that. Meanwhile, it's completely irrelevant. There is absolutely undeniable proof that a federal crime was committed two senior admin officials.

It's quite possible some of her assetts and contacts have already been "terminated".

why they did everything possible to win the last election? if we had a democratic senate there would be serious investigations..the house-impeachment hearings.........
