Do you think Maria Shriver is a republican?
She is, after all, campaigning/defending a republican who is hoping to unseat a democratic governor.

I don't think she is. It appears as if she has an eating disorder, which, IMO, is a cry for some kind of control in her life. After reading what kind of a 'man' Schwarzenegger is to the women around him, I'm of the impression that Maria is being told what to do, say, and feel.

I don't think I'll ever forgive her for this, though.

Although I feel it is strong verbal abuse! The man is scary to even look at, can't imagine living with him. I feel very sorry for her! I wouldn't be surprised at a diviorce in the furure, catholic or not!!

4. As an insensitive male I didn't realize it until you pointed it out
but there really may be a relationship between his attitude towards women and her emaciated body. I feel like I'm looking at a skeleton. I really wonder what the dark secret might be in that home

12. I hope she gets help, and soon.
I have known women who were attractive and thin but whose husbands were constantly talking about how they would like them to be thinner or pointing out which body part was too fat. If he did this and also cheated on her with thin women, she probably tried to diet in the false hope that it might keep him happy, which it didn't, since it isn't the problem. As she got thinner she probably got kudos from lots of other people but then lost control of it and grew terribly thin,

from a woman who knows Maria and used to have her as a client.

Maria used to be really fat. Then she met Arnold.

Arnold helped her get thin. She let him marry into American royalty.

No joke.

8. Most of the Kennedy women have been painfully thin...whether it's genetic
or obssessive....who knows. But, I think she's power hungry. She's an NBC employee and they've been running Aunold non-stop, ad nauseum on MSNBC, and that sounds to me like favoratism.

She wouldn't be the first to seek more power and to try to push her husband forward......since his acting career seems to be on the skids......and how long can he keep writing his "body building" columns before some younger hot shot comes along and picks him off.

She's probably apolitical, party wise, but a self promoter who knowns no party lines.

OK, fine, if his wife wants to not argue over the pants thing, whatever - she's a rich adult with her own job and a famous surname. But he has the nerve to tell his mother that she can't wear whatever the hell she effing well pleases? 11. Have you ever noticed that men who are
interested in their bodies and being in good shape are pretty hard on their women, putting them down if they get a little fat or flabby especially after chasing kids around and trying to hold down a job. This could be the root of her anorexia.

When I saw the latest picture of those two I thought "He-man and Skeletor".

Then I slapped myself, because anorexia and spousal abuse are serious problems in our society. I hope she is affected by neither, for the record...but I am not so sure.

they are an unattractive couple. Maria looks like death warmed over. If she keeps losing weight, she could end up in the hospital. Anorexia does kill.

Arnold looks like crap. He was featured on the cover of the Parade Magazine in the Sunday Paper, and it was very obvious that he has dyed his hair. It's thinning, and receding and he combed it straight up to give him a 'tough-guy' look. He didn't succeed.

His acting career is on a decline, hence his urgency in finding a replacement career before the first one fizzles. I heard his latest movie brought in $140 million, but it cost $177 million to produce.

So much for deficit spending...

he doesn't need money.

He wants to be the president of the U.S. and the rethugs are greasing the skids for him.

22. Maria & Arnold Encounter - Doubt She's Anorexic
My wife used to manage a clothing store for high-class moms and their designer kids. Maria and their kids were regulars. One time they came in with Arnold - about a year and a half ago. Arnold was clowing around with the women's sunglasses...putting 'em on and saying "How Republican do I look now?"

Then he saw Maria taking a lick off of one of the kids' ice cream cones she was holding. Arnold told Maria to stop eating the kids' ice cream.

So here's what you can take from that:

1) Maria is not anorexic
2) Maria is anorexic by proxy (arnold pressuring her?)
3) Maria is bulemic
4) Maria and Arnold are a typical married couple.

but I do think she is a "Stepford" wife, or an enabler. Same thing with addictions to alcohol, drugs and gambling. The problem with sexual addiction is that it is seldom recognized. The sexual addict thinks constantly of sex and things all women are out to "blow him", when most only want to "blow him off." The inability to accept "no" indicates a disdain of women generally and, more than likely, also, his wife. Basically, he is a neanderthal.
