Anybody watching Hardball tonight? I would like to smack Chris Matthews
right in his pie hole. He's such a jerk. What is up with this guy? What is up with all these stations carrying these jerks as commentators? Where can you get some REAL facts without all the Arnold and bush pandering. I can't stomach FOX so I don't watch that station, CNN and MSNBC are tough to stomach at times as well,so WHERE can you go besides the net to see something other than these jerks.

I'm so sick of this...get us a news station that gives us some facts with commentators who actually give a damn.

He also admitted he's more conservative than people realize. Actually, Chris, it's not really a secret.

6. The Internet
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 10:39 PM by Jack Rabbit
I find CommonDreams a good digest of Liberal/Progessive opinion; other good sources in the same vein are TomPaine.com, The Nation and The Progressive. If one wants to go further left, try Znet and CounterPunch. Of course, if one wants to balance that on the right, go to the National Review or the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal.

Also recommended for coverage of international events is the British press, especially the Guardian Unlimited, the Independent of London and, of course, the BBC. Far and away the best coverage of the Middle East is found in Ha'aretz, although one may also wish to seek out a Palestinian source like ElectronicIntifada for balance.
