The voters in the red states took the blue pill

Part of being a Republican is agreeably accepting fantasy as fact, to the point you don't even know the difference.

Mindlessly waving the flag and being totally ignorant of this country's insidious foreign policy endeavors, which are the real motive behind 9/11 and not some absurd "hatred of freedom" is a GOP theme. These idiots don't even understand history, let alone comprehend how it fits into the current context of events.

Mindlessly worshipping a bonehead President who cut taxes for the rich, slashed social programs and ignored the crippling deficits that occurred as a result not just ONCE but TWICE is a gimmick only a Republican could pull off. Have another drink and just forget the shitty present, right, Cliff?

Mindlessly believing that environmental regulations can be gouged and torn apart without a corresponding decrease in the health and well-being of the populace is a feat only a loyal Republican could manage.

Mindlessly ranting about gays, feminists, atheists and other "threats" while steadfastly ignoring actual problems such as corporate corruption, unemployment, fake wars pushed by the military-industrial complex, starvation, poverty and illiteracy is an accomplishment that only a person complete devoid of any critical thinking skills - i.e. someone who pulls the lever for the GOP each and every time - could pull off.

I've only known three kinds of Republicans: the greedy and intelligent, the greedy and stupid, and the nice but deluded. All of them take the blue pill and keep right on pretending.

Some Republicans really think they are in the party of Ford or Eisenhower. Other Republicans agree with Democrats but are for Republicans for foolish "cultural" reasons.

A large portion of the Traitorous, Treasnous, anti-American, agent-ousting GOP is ripe for conversion to the Democratic party.

The local campaign manager for Dennis Kucinich in my area says she is a Republican but she believes in what Dennis stands for. As a matter- of-fact she sounded pretty liberal to me, so I don't understand why she is registered as a Republican. She also stated she didn't vote for Bush. Go figure.
