I don't understand the hatred on DU for Joe Lieberman. While he is no hero of mine, I don't despise him. Give me an idea how "progressives" feel about Lieberman with this poll...

1. I assume you're asking which ticket we'd pick.

All unacceptable except the last one. If you don't understand why people hate Joe, you haven't followed him closely enough. He is a first-class liar, two-faced and an eager repuke-enabler. I can't think of a single other major dem who has pissed me off as often with his lies and disloyalty.

8. My reason for this thread was to see how desperate...

Democrats are to take back the white house. If you're willing to vote for Lieberman/? then you are DEDICATED (Lieberman is my least favorite of the 10 Democratic candidates). Would you vote Bush, Lieberman, Nader or stay home?

My personal answer-a horrendously angry vote for Lieberman (I can almost guarantee it will never come to this).I

11. I don't know that I'd have much choice

If I vote Lieberman, I support the party, but I abase my principles.

If I vote for Nader, then the Democrats are undercut (through no fault of their own, apparently)

If I vote for Bush, I commit haru-kiri )new song! "Blood on the Diebold"(

7. Well, here's the thing-

I really, REALLY dislike "Holy Joe", almost as much as I dislike Bush, but not quite. I'd really rather vote Nader than Lieberman, by preference HOWEVER I won't go so far as to say I'd take that kind of risk in 2004.
