something each of us across US could do tonight to help California
Here's a ten minute task that EACH one of us could do this very night that could help hold the tide in California. No matter where you are. This news hurts both Bush AND Arnold.

Go here: http://www.ajr.org/NewscategoriesByState.asp?MediaType=1&Type=StateNews&Cat_id=2&start=1&State=

Find your local newspaper. Find an e-mail address for the newsroom or the managing editor. Not a letter to the editor, but an e-mail directly TO someone.

Copy Greg Palast's article on Arnold-Enron and paste it into your email.

Send. Do you have ten minutes to stop this? Let's all help out.

Also the info and the memos are available from consumerwatch.org

3. Your idea is a good one. I did pass it on last night
to someone here from California who was really in despair. I hope she was able to get it out and about.

4. Don't forget Move On's ad.
Good idea. I will do such.. Particularily after my local rag endorsed Arni. A Libertarian rag.. They endorsed Arni's leadership style.. After I email the editor, I will tell him his paper is being cancelled. Please, one of the most effective means- contribute to Move On's ad .
Today I finished my door to door work.. Put out my own flyer.. Had Gregg Palast piece, Arni Unplugged..
Liked the heading.. I doctored up Arni's soft porn pic., once displayed on this site.. Made it less offensive and asked, can a former porn star be taken seriously..? Had a censored sign over his vitals... That will shock the fundies...

12. I think they're thinking about his "leadership" in "Terminator"
Or maybe it was in "Total Recall". Or maybe they're confusing him with his father, who was a Gruppenfuhrer back in Austria.

6. Thanks and here's a quick poll
Now I have an email group for Colorado papers that at least have a way to contact an individual by email.

I'm sure it will disgust more than a few since it's so conservative out here. I even voted in a few polls while at the pages. The Greeley Tribune had a poll about Arnold:

"Do you think Arnold Schwarzenegger’s admission of groping women makes him unfit to be governor of California?" Over 66% voted "no". Ack! Wanna vote? Go here
http://www.greeleytrib.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage

Btw, Greeley is the town in the area that the novel Centennial was all about. Farming/ranching and a college town, too.

9. Hope you don't mind me posting this here
From the California Secretary of State

Voter statistics.

If democrats get out and vote I don't see how Gray Davis could lose this.

Reg Dems over 41 percent with large concentration in large counties. Only 35 percent for the gop.

10. What I sent...
http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=282&row=1

Are you aware that the California gubernatorial recall is the byproduct of backroom deals which originated in May, 2001? Did you know that during Calfornia's rolling blackouts Schwarzenegger met with Enron executives at California's Peninsula Hotel after Enron failed to cut a deal with Gray Davis to back off of a lawsuit to recover $9 billion pillaged by energy companies from California's treasury? Davis refused the deal which would have allowed Enron and other energy companies to pay back 2 cents on the dollar for the $9 billion owed and the recall was initiated.

The link above provides all the details of this travesty. We are hearing that Schwarzenegger is a sexual offender and that he admires Hitler because of his ability to get people to follow him. It seems that Arnold's willingness to go forward as a candidate under these conditions only bears out the latest stories proving just how power hungry he really is.

In the interest of fairness, it is important that your readers be told the truth about the CA recall.

In an email to the LA Times? And in an email blast to my friends?
