Did anyone else notice what happened with the C-Span caller
who raised the question about Israel's nuclear stockpile first and raise a second question about energy? The host and guest completely ignored the caller's issue on Israel. It is outrageous! The look on the gusest face when the caller was posing the question told me that she was afraid of the question and was going to ignore it...and dang if she didn't and she was dutiful helped in side-stepping the issue by the C-Span host!

The control is awesome!

1. I'm watching C-SPAN and trying to deal with DU at the same time...
but I do recall that was no discussion on the Israel question,
and I find that disturbing. Usually, if there is an "I don't know scenario", they pretty well say that.

That was kind of odd, even though I was occupied and didn't pay great attention.

2. the networks are terrified of this issue...
the bbc did a documentary expose' on israels undeclared nucleaur weapons.

a lot of people - tried to stop it from being aired prime time. It was then shifted to a 11:20pm slot.

Israeli govt dissolved all prveldges for bbc reporters in the area as a result - which still exists i think...

3. Israel tried very hard...
to get that documentary blocked down here in Australia too. Our BBC equivalent (the ABC) ran it anyway.

4. I think another reason they are terrified to speak of it
besides having access cut off, is that the American public is torn on this issue. It is often emotional and seems to inspire irrational behavior quite often. Go checkout F/A and remember that's moderated--you'll see. Most settings are not moderated though and could easily escalate. We're practically at civil war as it is, throw that particular brand of fuel on the fire and thing would be beyond media control.

We cannot have that. ;-)
