crazy pic from the state dinner tonight

Note that crazy look on George's face, and the ignominious bow on Laura's stomach. Her designer must be a Democrat; those tummy bows of hers keep turning up!

29. Doesn't Pickles make a lot of her own clothes?
I read somewhere that she likes to sew and makes some of her own outfits...that would explain this dress, as well as the 10,000 pantsuits that all look exactly alike. One pattern, with pants and skirt, for two different looks! Simplicity, #6666

38. Look at President Kibaki.
Then look at the Usurper-in-chief.

Who looks more comfortable in his tux? Bush has his arms forward, elbows locked - like an ape. Along with his bow-legged, pigeon-toed stance, and akward posture, you'd think he's about to "adjust" his collar or his balls.

She wears the ugliest clothes since Mamie but then Mamie dressed like my grandmother, which she was so, that's ok. But my god, if it wasn't 4 bad taste, this woman would have no taste at all. Remember how magazines would do features on the designers for 1st ladies. Who does her clothes? Their sense of style is as lame as hers.

34. there's been a bow at every state dinner
Courtesy of a freeper: "This was the 4th and she has had a bow, almost in the same spot for every one of them. Mexico, red dress with a bow. Poland the dress with that awful blue/green bow, Phillipines, white dress with bow and now Kenya, red dress with a bow."

37. pickle puss look on his face and Barbie action figure plastic face on her
He has the attention span of a hyperactive child, exactly one second--that is why he often looks as though he is checking out the crowd rather than concentrating on the task at hand--he is jerky and nervous--his eyes dart around the perimeter. Pickles bragged, on her recent trip to Europe, that she only uses American designers--good heavens--the one who designed this atrocity must have never shown up for the final fitting. The color and the designe emphasizes her fat hips. That little girl bow placed on her waist only serves to bring attention to her drooping boobs, which are resting, if not actually below, her waist. Look at the dress of the other first lady--also a rather zoftic body--but notice how her dress flows and nothing is there in that design to point to embarrassing bulges--the line is lovely and is serving her looks well. Laura looks like a robotic, plastic, heavy in the hip, light in the head, wannabee, wish I were, maybe I am, twenty again.

The dress was designed by Scaasi. Scaasi is Mother Bush's decades-long designer.

And so he dresses Laura like a frump. Bows on the belly. Can't overshadow Barbara Bush, now! Soon they'll have Laura in polka dots and pearls.
