Encouraging news on local tracking poll
I was listening to local news this morning. A pollster was talking about how their tracking polls had changed from Wednesday to Saturday. Women had gone from something like 54 percent supporting recall to on Saturday only 44 percent are. That's great news and the pollster said he expected the fall in support to have continued through today. Similar change in support among latinos.

Don't women have higher voting rates than men? I think they do but I'm not sure in this election.

It was on NBC 11 in the SF Bay Area. No link because it was not a written report.

5. Most of them are, aren't they?
Look at the women in Congress. A large majority of them are Democrats.

6. Sounds like the same poll that was being reported yesterday
It's good news if we can believe it's real.

Given that no one knows what the turnout is going to be like compared to past elections, I don't think we can count on this, though it is promising.

Of course, that also means we can't count on the accuracy of any of the polls, and that probably is a good thing given the way most of them were turning out.

...

Oh, I just see that you're talking about support amongst women only. I hadn't heard that before, but had heard about overall support dropping to 44% over the weekend in a tracking poll.

Good luck!!

7. well let's take a look at who hates Arnold --
women, blacks, jews, hispanics ......

In California that doesn't leave a very large percentage of the population. White men are probably down around 18 percent (just guessing)
