It could be worse Californians

I know the idea of Arnold as Governor is a bitter pill to swallow. But you still have an overwhelmingly Democratic legislature, Democratic office holders in your other constitutional offices, and probably a somewhat Democratic judiciary. We in Ohio not only feel your pain but raise it by an entire legislature. Since 1995 we have had one party Republican rule. We have had unfettered Republicanism. Thank God for your legislature. It will save your ass trust me one that.

err..., never mind.

You are right, the legislature should be able to neutralize the Governator pretty effectively.

Nevertheless, the citizens of California and the rest of us will be subjected to media bytes (including sound) of Arnold spewing forth his poison every chance he gets. He will not be a shy governor.

I am already sick of him, and he won't even be governor for a month or more.

3. At least McClintock didn't win

as he is a true conservative republican.

But I'm sure Arnold will just be a puppet for the far right to control California. Luckily the Lt. Gov, and state congress are democratic.

Not a happy time. Very ashamed of my neighbors in CA--this could make a difficult period in state history much more so.

given more than that to that so call coalition of iraq conquers. I'm pretty sure that bush and company are right now getting the bank vaults open for arnold. and dig this when he (bush) campaigns in cali, he will have the kennedys on the stage with him, giving speeches about how he should be re-elected.

5. One silver lining

I will enjoy watching him break all his promises. There is no way to deal with a $10 billion deficit without raising taxes or cutting education. It's his mess now. :evilgrin:

I wonder how he's going to handle the massive anti-Bush rallies on the 25th of this month? If he decides to be macho and call in the Guard that will hurt him in the polls rather a lot.
