3. Just out of curiosity
Does anyone know if CA is a "strong" Governor or "weak" Governor state? I know TX is considered to be a weak Governor state in that the Lt. Governor can be considered to be the more powerful office. That's why the argument could be made that whatever "bipartisanship" occurred in TX under Shrub had as much to do w/ having Bob Bullock (D) as Attorney General who was willing to work w/ the Shrub rather than any sort of "compassionate conservatism" on the Shrub's part. Anyway- just curious... I know these sorts of measurements are fairly subjective anyway...
