Weird. Does this mean that a lot of people voted no on the recall, but still voted for McClintock?

2. I'm sure there were a few ...
terribly confused people who voted NO on the recall, and then voted for Arnold (on purpose).

Cheers

3. My take...
these would be the real conservatives who saw the recall process as setting a dangerous precedent. I can respect that.

6. That would be the only explanation that makes sense
But I hadn't heard anyone talking about that option, or imploring others to do that before the election. That's a lot of people to do that without some sort of movement. Was there one that I was just not aware of?

5. They must have voted NO on recall YES on Arnold
The McClintock supporters damn sure would've voted YES to oust Davis.

8. what makes you say that?
Several must have voted for Arnold, or any of the 135 candidates. This isn't hard to understand.

9. So Arny is recall bait.
Davis got 45% of the vote. Arny got 48%. To me, that means Arny is recall bait.

Please. The GOP has proven that getting a recall on the ballot is easy. If Arny is recalled, he won't be on the ballot. Then who is going to beat Davis (yes, even Davis), McClintock? I don't think so.

The Arny administration is already hanging by a thread. Live by the recall...
