New mouth to watch out for in radio world.
He's actually not too new as he's currently syndicated in around 200 markets and makes his "live" start here in Seattle on Monday.
On KVI they have been running taped shows and he starts live on Monday from Seattle.

Rusty Humphries is his name and he has all the talking points, the look, the attitude and the "girth" that Rush has/had.

So look out Seattle, it ain't gettin' any better.

Just for your curiousity....http://www.therustyshow.com/

I checked out his web site and it's the usual right wing rhetoric...will be listening to some of his show tonight unfortunately and will try and update via this thread later on.

1. He ain't new
He's been spewing from his base in Reno for a number of years now. I find him even more irritating than Limbaugh and Hannity, if that's possible.

3. radio
Just what we need. More right wing blather. Where do companies find these people? Are they grown in a rock garden? I can see CEOs lifting rocks and thinking Is this one done yet. Do they poke them in the stomach to find out if they are ripe enough?

a Rush clone. I think KVI is desparate to fill the void that Rush Limbaugh is leaving since his show is moving to that other right-wing talk station here in town, called ironically "770 AM KTTH The Truth". also home to Michael Medved and Wiener Savage.

6. Irony is dead
That website is so full of over-the-top cheese that I would have thought it was a parody if it weren't for your post. There's actually something called a "Wacko Meter" - sounds like it's right out of an episode of the Simpsons.
