My prediction came true in less than 24 hours.

I thought yesterday that Bush had kept his distance from California during the recall season, but now that Arnold has won he would be all over it like flies on s**t. This morning I hear on the Radio "Gov.-elect A.S. has begun making the transition into office and has been busy making calls to thank and advise, etc. including one to George Bush who promises to help the new governor and California, and will be there soon for statewide fundraising". Remember the hands-off policy to California last year during the fiscal crisis and energy meltdown? Ooo, that's a state problem, we can't interfere, they'll work it out, it's gov Davis' problem.
