I thought the debate went well!!
Except for Judy of course but I thought most of the candidates did very well.

1. Edwards was simply outstanding.

2. Gephardt did a great job sticking up for the party.

3. Dean talked tough on healthcare.

4. Kerry had a great moment with the veterans question.

5. Clark survived, but he needs work. Not a good forum for a speaker of his style, he needs time to unload the massive brain.

6. Kucinich had a good take with the whole speak from your heart question.

7. Sharpton was Sharpton.

8. Mosely Braun was great at first, although she really miffed the last question.

9. Even Lieberman was fairly effective.

So I don't know what the fuss is, I think it was good.

1. I agree
Edwards grows on you. I used to dislike him. I just wish he would drop the "my mama was a union worker" story, I'm tired of it.

Kerry, Lieberman, and Gephardt showed an excellent command of the issues.

Clark, as expected, was strong on foreign policy, but faded away when the topic turned to domestic issues.

M-B never fails to impress me, and Sharpton is so damn quick on his feet. I loved his answer to the question about protecting the rights of native Americans ("repeal the Patriot Act first" he said).

Dean was A-OK.

2. Sad to say...
It's true...and was obvious...when we got to the bleeding heart Q&A part....Clark just couldn't leap into the fray...

Well...that was the truly numbing part of the "debate"...so...

we've already moved on.

sigh
