Help President Bush: Sign the Affidavit

President Bush told the press on Tuesday that he doesn't "have any idea" whether the senior administration officials who blew a CIA operative's cover will ever be found. But if he just asked his staff to sign a legally binding affidavit confirming that they weren't involved, and referred anyone who wouldn't to the FBI, it's possible he could flush out the perpetrators in a day. To date, the President hasn't even discussed this matter with his staff.

I'm a total sucker. I signed up for the blacklist. Good thing I don't plan on flying.

yesterday and think it's one of their best movements! I've signed so many blacklists...I'll probably get 5 "Lifetime" sentences when they come after me.

2. I, CITIZEN-SOLDIER WHO DIDN'T GO AWOL, further attest that on or about the dates of June 1, 2003, through July 30, 2003, I did not have any conversation, whether by telephone, e-mail, in person, or by any other means, with any reporter, correspondent, journalist, or any other member of the media, during which the employment of Valerie Plame was discussed in any way.

I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the foregoing is true and correct.

with the "Help President Bush" in the subject line. I deleted it without reading it, then marched over to her and said I would never help that illegal squatter except to pack his bags. She explained what it was and boy, did I feel stupid! I retrieved it and signed it and sent it on. It's a good thing I hate to fly, eh?
