That's apparantly a term someone recently coined to refer to straights who pretend to be gay.

one of those shows about the rich and famous ("It's great to be ________________", I think) about Schwarzenegger. In the few minutes I watched, they referred to Schwarzenegger as a "metrosexual" because he is so used to being pampered and catered to (they said he has to have his regular pedicure and only has the finest haircuts, wears the finest clothes, blah, blah, blah).

pretend to be gay, they just believe in good grooming and not being slobs.

Strange charge coming from a radio host who has had plastic surgery, diets using drugs, and wears very expensive suits.

I heard a story on NPR about marketing targeting metrosexuals, guys who really pay great attention to style and other narcissistic activities.
