I'm angry at the Tucson coverage of the debate last night
Edited on Fri Oct-10-03 04:05 PM by Wetzelbill
Here is what they had to say about the best populist candidate in the race and then the purest progressive candidate running.

"Also participating in the debate was Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina and Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio."

They did go further with quotes about Edwards leaning on his poor boy from North Carolina roots. The media treat Kucinich and Edwards as if they have the plague or something.

Garbage.

The gist of the article was basically about how everybody went after Clark.

Who cares?

Let's hear more about what they talked about and who the candidates are. I don't care if people bashed each other. I do care about what they stand for.

Here is the link.

2. The Big Problem
with these debates is that they are controlled by corporate media pravda - notice how sneering Judy Whore Woodruff was last night, cutting everyone off. These pundits are paid to do whatever harm they can to the Dems and this includes all the corporate newspapers. It makes me sick to see a debate run by these condescending aholes. Just wait until we have a candidate and then stand back - they will come at them with everything they have in their arsenal - and what can we do?

Please let Al Gore buy NWI before the election - WE NEED A FAIR AND IMPARTIAL NEWS NETWORK, ANCHORS AND REPORTERS to tell the truth to the poor stupid sheep.

3. Unfortunately
"Let's here more about what they talked about and who the candidates are. I don't care if people bashed each other. I do care about what they stand for."

There was none of that at the debate. The moderators were engaged in some Dem-bait tactics, and spent most of the time attempting to engage Dem candidates in attacking each other. Hardly anything substantive.
