Justice: Tommy Chong in jail; Rush on vacation

Tommy Chong reports for his Askkkroft inspired jail term. Rush is in a jacuzzi somewhere with a drug counselor.

We need to start a Free Tommy Chong movement.

Or else put Rush in the same jail.

Time for Rush to surrender
Addiction is never a good thing, but for Rush Limbaugh, it is karmic payback. Now an honest, rhetorically consistent Rush would have no choice but to surrender to the authorities and plea bargain himself a significant jail term.

Why? Well, that's what he was advocating on his show:

"There's nothing good about drug use," he was saying. "We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies. Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up." <...>

Even though blacks and whites break the drug laws in roughly equal percentages, he noted, black druggies go to prison far more often than white druggies do. But to the liberal-bashing host, this was no reason to ease up on blacks.

"What this says to me," he told his listeners that day, "is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too."

So,
Rush is white


He's getting away with drug use; and


He's getting away with trafficking (or forcing his housekeeper to traffick in it)

Now that he has been found, there's nothing left than to convict him and send him up the river.

It's that simple.

I don't think this is the way police normally
investigate a crime involving illegal drugs....

Some people get jail...some get a break.

What a sorry assed state our country is in, when white collar criminals, that have stolen HUGE amounts from American citizens, go free. And Tommy Chong, who has done no one harm, goes to jail.

that what comes out of someone's MOUTH supposedly signifying "What they Believe"....Differs in "Today's World" of Media Hype as to what they are. So, we are supposed to feel sorry for Rush, ignore what he did as a person in contrast to his "Media Image" (where he raked in $$$$$$'s for his Corporate Suppliers, and say: "Oh Rush....too bad...we feel your pain...get better....and then come back and DO IT TO US AGAIN! :shrug:
