My new response to right wingers

I still have to think this through some more. But the events of this week had me thinking hard. Hard about what new tactic I need to use in conversations with my Conservative Repub Christian aquaintances.

I've got this seed of a thought that the right wing media and leadership likes to talk the talk of the Old Testament. But as soon as they get into trouble, they're quick to *hypocritically beg for New Testament responses from us.

The Old Testament is so much fire and brimstone with it's eye for an eye "speak". Whereas the New Testament is often reflects the teachings of Jesus with his philosophy of forgiveness and inclusion.

So when I get together with my friends and they extend their pity on Limbaugh or start issuing absolutes, I'm going to go with this and then leave it there to sink in.
