I heard Michael Moore speak last night.

Has anyone else heard him lately? He was funny and damn straight about the war and the traitors in the chimp admin. But, but, but, before he came out we saw some a clip from his TV show in which he stated that there was no difference between Bush and Gore... I can't believe no one is saying they were wrong about this (Nader, Moore, and others), and then he came out and opened with a criticism of Democratic candidates (they're wimps). Maybe people who like to think about issues and see different points of view and have complex understandings come off looking like wimps. But, the alternative are born-agains, Newt Gingrich, and so on, people whose views are so simplistic that it's easy to be pig-headed and arrogant about them. Anyway, what exactly is wrong with being a wimp? Oh, yeah, it means you can't get elected in the US because the sheeple want tough guys running things. I guess that's why height is such a dramatic factor in elections. By the way, what is the ratio between the heights of Gray Davis and Ahnold, and what was the ration between their votes?

stations would pick him up to do a Rush Limbaugh type show. He's got the gift of the gab and of course his view would be liberal not neo-conservative. I think he would get a wide audience and I don't understand why any station would want to pass up on profits even if it's a liberal that brought them in.

If you read Moore's last book "stupid white men..." you would know that Moore realized a week before the election, that Gore would lose if the greens didnt vote for him. So he told the voters of Florida to vote for the greater good and make sure Gore won the state.

So this shows that Moore was aware of Gore being far superior to Bush long before the Bush crime family ever set a foot into the white house.

or for some reason don't remember it (I read it a long time ago). I like Nader, he has done some great things for people and this country. I met him at a speech he gave in Clarmont, CA many years ago and the speech was one of the most motivating, up-lifting I've ever heard. So it is hard for me to completely write him off. But I am very pissed at his stubborness in 2000 and his continuing silence now that chimpy has ruined everything.

Moore was attacking Gore for months on end. By then the damage was already done.

although he may be... off... on certian facts, his points remain valid, i saw bowling for columbine, even though some of the facts were off, the main points of the documentary still remain valid (being america is paranoid and quick to shoot and ask questions later), anyway, i still like the guy cause hes not afraid to ask questions. thats what we need is people willing to question so the kinda crap BushCo. pulls happens as little as possible.

Moore has a job. He is an entertainer, artist and social critic. In that role he calls it as he sees it.

He is not the head of the DNC, nor is he a Democratoc strategist.

He happens to be telling the truth. Sorry if that doesn;t fit into the little box you want to put him in. But I'd rather see him telling the truth as he sees it than like one of those mush-mouthed moron "strategists" who supposedly represent liberals on television. "Oh no we can't say anything against those corporations. Golly gee."

Screw that. We need people like Moore willing to tell the truth as they see it. Sorry if the truth hurts sometimes.

Oh yeah I forgot. Telling people this ugly truth about Moore is a no no.

His truth DID make Bush president. His truth is that the Democratic corporate centrist establishment has gotten so out of touch with the roots of populist liberalism that all they serve is watered down gruel.

So does that invalidate everything he's done since then?

Obviously Moore saw he made a mistake in not backing Gore, and he's trying to fix it by opening people's eyes about the Bush/Saudi connection, among other things.

So I ask you, what more does he have to do to prove he learned his lesson, or are you content to keep reminding us ad nauseum that Moore didn't back Gore in 2000?

Maybe if he got on TV and finally apologized to Gore and his family for the lies that he and Nader said about him. Then maybe I would be able to move on.
