Will Rush Get a Little Help from His Friends and the Friends of Friends??

Limbaugh is absolutely invaluable to the Republicans. He's part of the Unholy Trinity which includes Falwell and Robertson. The latter two deliver the right wing Christian fundamentalists; Rush delivers a large block of blue collar, uneducated white men who used to be the foundation of the Dem Party. If the repukes lose this component, they slip into the minority real fast. They have to get Rush back in front of the mike and on form and they must do it as soon as possible. They need to make him look "all better, repentant, and a real man for fighting his demons". Therefore, I'm thinking that two things will be done for Rush.

First, the initial mess will be cleared up in Florida by Bro Jeb. Rush will not serve time even if it is found that some of the massive amounts of pills he has purchased were also sold by him to others. However, this just starts their problems with Rush.

They have to either keep Rush clean or (more to the point) they have to cover his criminal activities. Given that this man's life consists of sitting in front of a mike and lying and spewing hatred all day long, I will wager anything that he will be popping as soon as his little 30 day drying out is over. It's rooted deeply in his vile personality. Now, they can't have him busted or spotted buying again or he will have to do time and it would be the end of him. Too many people will now be spying on him and ready to rat to a rag magazine for money if he so much as farts. Therefore, I have a feeling that the Repukes biggest buddies, the drug companies, will keep Rush supplied with whatever he wants in order to keep him at his post convincing poor slobs to vote against their best interests.

Bottom line: the Bush regime will see to it that he's back in form in 30 days and they will supply him his pills so that he need not risk being caught again.

I'm sure the stuff is ready to go for him. They need the pig on the air.

If that guy goes back on the air, we're going to have to start calling in his show every DAY. For every comment he makes about liberals we have to make 5 by saying "Good point, but what do you know? You're a drug addict". After about a week of that, his sponsors would pull out and the syndications will end. I promise.

and people who tried to call, that the asshole filters the calls - delayed response, etc. - so that he can pick and choose and present it as though he is just loved and adored and the liberals are afraid to call him, etc. This guy lives in dark places. So, there is no way to get around the "shield"--he will never allow comments like that to go across the airwaves.

And yes, he will relapse like a mofo. The rate is high to begin with, but he has huge powers of denial, which will make "cracking him" to get him to admit he has a problem basically impossible.
