all around decent guy. Yes, he is an old fashioned Republican, but that doesn't make him non-human. In other words, it doesn't make him a Green-Communist.

but one can be a good Republican and be against the recall. Davis practiced fiscal responsiblity by cutting 30 billion out of a 38 billion dollar budget deficit. He tried to stand up against crooked price fixing in the energy market. Davis, also I believe, served his country in Viet Nam, not a hotel bar. A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, these used to be Republican values. Eastwood might be a little resentful, too, about californians sacking Davis and then begging from Gropinater and Shrub, like a trained seal.

Jsut because Rummy tries to channel him in press briefings does not necessarily make Clint a neocon.

BTW: Eastwood is one helluva talent!
