They know exactly what they are doing. They are presenting these individuals as role models and examples to their scout troop leaders. Do you have the idea that somehow all those "morally straight" leaders would disagree with any statements that either Coulter or North put out? Do you really think that the right wing is just kidding?

Clue: The right wing is dead serious. Believe it.

If we want them out of power, we have to be dead serious.

That seems about right for the final descent into Soviet-style Orwellianism and Total Empire for the Busheviks.

Though I could be optimistic in thinking it will wait that long.

Every Totalitarian State (as Imperial Amerika is trending towards becoming) requires a large reservior of programmed bullies and thugs.

Ollie and Annthrax will be giving that concept a kick-start.

Just went over and looked at the site. It reads like a KKK meeting, that guest list.

Which, in many ways I have no doubt...it is.

I really really don't understand this...

Could it be that this country is going to turn the Boy Scouts into a sort of youth recruitment group?

Who runs this organization? I wonder if it could become like those images you see from - horrors - Saddam's Iraq, where the kids, in their little junior Ba'athist uniforms marched, or in North Korea, where the school kids march in their uniforms to school, chanting the praises of the dear leader.

Bet the hawks would love to see the Boy Scouts turn into their little "Neocon Youth" organization.

21. I've always been able to put down a gripping history book and
look around at how different things are today from how they were in the past.

Right now I'm re-reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich for the first time in 40 years and what really scares me now is that I look up from the book and see the same things in today's newspapers as I'm reading in the book.

How is it that the vast majority of the population just doesn't see what's happening right under their noses?

That the consitution is something to be ignored when it is inconvinent and that liberals are traitors and should be killed. The right wing is showing unusual foresight here in doing its best to ensure that the first generation to grow up under fascist control will remain loyal brownshirts.
