Description: The Student Government Association and Academic Affairs presents film maker and satirist Michael Moore. General admission tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or the Cintas Center ticket office for $10. All Xavier employees and students get one free ticket with ID, maximum two ID's. These will be available starting October 20 in the SGA office, Gallagher Student Center, room 214. Additional tickets can be purchased at the same time. Book signing will follow the lecture.

5. Why does everyone love Moore so much?

He's basically a walking straw man. Conservatives attack his arguments (which generally have one flaw or another), and get to 'discredit' all liberals.

Are the conservative attacks on his arguments.

OH! OH! Charlton Heston is an old man with Alzheimers! OH! OH! The bank gave him the gun when he came back a later day! OH! OH! The nuclear weapons are actually made at a different plant, this one just makes the delivery system! OH! OH! Michael Moore made Bush president!

never accurately cite moore when 'debating' excerpted video clips of him

they misrepresent him, but i've yet to see any of them substantively take moore on regarding the issues
