A Conservative Republican for Kucinich
THIS is an EXCELLENT article about Kucinich's appeal across the board, without having to "moderate" ANYTHING. :)

http://www.pulsetc.com/article.php?sid=674

-- snip --

So conservative Republicans tell us the important issues of the day are the 150 year old state sodomy laws; pro-choice vs. pro-life; and gun control; and seniors who are sneaking in their Celebrex and Fosamax from Canada for half price.

Pat Robertson invites all of us to join in with the Christian Coalition to pray for the demise of 3 Supreme Court Justices.

We spend $350 billion on weapons and weapons systems to kill people, but can't find a few billion to help Americans dying because they are uninsured. Thousands upon thousands of Americans, young and old, died during the time period of the first President Bush to the time period of the second (inept) President Bush for lack of health care insurance, and the relentless brutality and ruthlessness of the American insurance industry in are partners in crime with the extortionist drug companies.

We won't provide desperate, needy Americans with the drugs they need for health and survival, and at the same time we spend billions trying to keep dangerous "streetdrugs" out of our country, and can't even succeed at doing that. How pathetic
Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) has a pragmatic, straightforward, common sense plan for Universal Health Care for all. He has a plan for 0% unemployment. He has a plan that won't lead to $450 billion dollar deficits. He has a plan that will curtail the raping of America by the insurance/pharmaceutical/energy/telecommunications "crime syndicate" that pays $60 million to CEO's that bankrupt their own companies.

1. Wow
:wow: Seriously I think we gotta hand it to him, he would make a fine president, now I know winning the primary aint gonna be easy and same with general election but, this wouldnt be like McGovern as Ive seen some claim, Tricky Dick even though a Dick was far from as right Bush is now. Go Kucinich and Go a progressive democratic party, I am sick of being told, "unelectable" who would have thought that we would be where we are now, that is Bush not well liked like he was.

4. You're right as always John
I thought this was a pretty amazing response, coming from a "recovering" conservative. It really shows how Dennis's message resonates with many people, conservative and liberal, Republican and Democrat, if only they get the chance to hear it

DK was in Mpls yesterday, and it was fantastic. Winona LaDuke endorsed him on stage, Mimi Kennedy was there, and we got to play a couple of cool campaign songs, too! We may make them into a CD to sell as a fundraiser so we can keep working for him in MN and IA too. Alex "wheresthemind" was there and took some cool action photos, which I'm sure will get published on our MN site soon (www.minnesotaforkucinich.com).

It was a truly awesome experiece, even though my contact with Dennis was limited to a wave from the other side of the stage as he left. :)

9. By the way, nice to hear Winona LaDuke hasn't ....
...disappeared from public life. She really had an outstanding essay last week on CommonDreams, about harnessing the Saudi Arabia of Wind Energy, all that available (and perpetually wind-swept) prairie reservation land in the Plains States...

Somehow I don't see Cheney and his cronies going for it, but it was nicely presented...

If we can just get The Shrub out in 2004, maybe someone will pick it up. Every barrel not bartered or bought from the Saudi's is another buck (or 30) that can be spent to strengthen Our economy.

3. of course it does
Why do so many remain blind revcarol why? We needed a fighter and a guy who stands up for progressive ideas, this man is it. Here we have a man who said NO to the Patriot Act and NO to the war and he always was the only candiate to vote against either of these.

6. Excellent
Yesterday, I woke up, unemployed, uninsured, broke, with my health shot. And I just got plain tired of watching the color coded terrorist alert system on TV; watching the UN Iraq headquarters get blown to bits (with its respected and admired leader murdered by fanatics that absolutely do not want freedom); and listening to Bush about how we were going to "smoke 'em out" and "bring 'em ta justice", "dead or alive".

be sure to vote in the DU primary poll

7. Dennis Kucinich
is victorious because he really stands for truth and genuinely for the betterment of the welfare and conditions of all humankind. He is by far the most honourable candidate for office... and whether or not hte is the nomination, he is the winner by his very presence... as he is an inspiration for millions of americans who really will change this country.

8. Well, this is one man who has seen the Light!

"Are we all going nuts?"

I saw an old quote from bush before invading Iraq in my "Washington Spectator that said ..
"At some point, we may be the only ones left. That's OK with with me. We are America."

People should be very afraid of this maniacle whistle ass.
