About the Powell 60 minutes airing - Note the timing

Notice that they put in on 60 Minutes II at a time when both playoff games are airing. The Yankee Boston game was still on and the Chicago Florida game had started.

Why not on Sunday? This was not important enough! Even 60 minutes caved to media control.

2. I think it's regularly scheduled at that time.

Plus, it may draw a non-baseball crowd. 60 Minutes (the Sunday version) normally draws an older demographic--not sure about II.

7. Cover-up in Oklahoma

At least you may get to see it in your area. The local right-wing propagandist CBS affiliate, KWTV Channel 9 in Oklahoma City is covering up Sixty Minutes II with an hour long advertisement for St. Jude's Childrens' Fund. They want to keep the rednecks ignorant and controlled at any cost, and they make no appologies for covering up the truth. They are not a media/news outlet, but just a bunch of propaganda toadies.

Sunday 60 minutes goes on after the afternoon game is over. The next game on ESPN goes on after that. Maybe it is different on the west coast though.

60 Minutes Sunday program has been in the top 10 in the Neilsons for about 30 years,.

when one of the best Frontline's I've ever seen exposing the Bush cabal and postwar Iraq was on. There are some very informative television and print articles out there full of information that would make the average American pause and think "WTF, How come nobody's talking about this stuff instead of Kobe Bryant?"

14. the evil eye

did some real hard hitting stuff last sunday. I forget what they were, but it was about as bad as the last two stories tonight.They did what equated to tabliod TV on sunday. Did a real hitpiece on Homeschooling, early week. Slide the good story in during a game 7 playoff midweek.
