Hey "America", why don't you really support the troops ?

At least the troops that have been murdered and maimed.

"America" is meant for the purposes of this post to be all those people that said they supported all these the bush conflicts beginning Sept.12th 2001.

Let's see you all call in and sign up for the National Call Us List.

This list will work along the lines of the Do Not Call list only in reverse. Everyone that signs up for this list will be granted the chance to put their money where their mouths have been for the last two years. Retroactively and from now on, for each Soldier that is murdered or wounded in the middle east, you will get a call and be told how much to write out a check for to that person's family in order to at least take care of any financial shortfall that family experiences due to their loss until such time as that family deems it to be no longer necessary. So how about it all you armchair patriots here is your chance to really show you care about the people being slaughtered & crippled in your name. After all, you want to support the troops, right ? moof does not under any circumstance support human beings anywhere killing each other for any cause, but still as soon as the all the members the congress, occupants at the whitehouse, everyone on K street and say oh ... half the number of people that bush said voted for him in the last election have signed up, moof will gladly sign on as well. So how about it America here is your chance to do more than pay lip service to all those that have made your life safer. Still think the price of all that added safety is worth the price in dollars ? Then think about those that paid for it with their blood. Now shut up & start writing those checks, after all you support the troops don't you ?


PS This is not meant to work a hardship on anyone. You will not be expected to pay a large amount of money at any one time. Your monthly share will be prorated over time and for the amount of people that sign up, for the duration of " The War On Terror " As a guage for the upper limit of your contribution it is suggested that an amount equal to what ever you give your church each Sunday would be acceptable.

our troops...I however do not support BushCo...

And I already donate...I pay taxes...just like the rest of Americans...

I would rather support our troops by exposing the blatant misleading by the crooked administration that got them in Iraq in the first place. I would rather support them by voicing my opinions about letting the UN and other nations play a more important role in Iraq and not have the stranglehold that BushCo seems to have, including his big business buddies...ie...Halliburton and Bechtel...
I would rather support our troops by voting BushCo out of Washington and have their asses investigated.
I don't need to fly a flag on my car...or wear a stars and stripes T-shirt...or buy the countless peices of junk being advertised in the name of the victims of 9/11 or our soldiers who are dieing...or some stupid BushCo action figure that makes a complete mockery of the armed forces...to show my patriotism...I did my time in the service of my country and I'm proud of the fact that I did...it's a lot more than I can say for some of the people who are in the White House...

My heart aches everytime I hear of a soldier killed over there in this un-needed war...I feel for the families...I know how it feels to lose a loved one...I lost some fine friends in the first Gulf War...

My post is not intended to flame yours...just my honest opinion...

this post was meant somewhat tongue in cheek as a response to posters for another board that moof goes to once in a while where the people are quite sure that anyone that does not support bush is not supporting the troops. Like you moof sees this as two completely separate issues. Just wanted to post this in a friendly arena to get some feedback before posting it in the twilightzone at the other place.

You tell me, who did their patriotic duty? Was Bush patriotic when he looted the treasury and sent out 175,000 $90,000.00 checks to his pals, so they could donate at his fundraisers?

It's up to the veteran's administration to demand the money that they need to support the veterans and their families! The VA needs to Raise Holy Hell every time the special interest infested congress and Bush steal from the vets! They promised me a tombstone, but they lied! The Yes Men run the VA just like everything else under Bushism! They all just make up the rules and the games as they go along! The Betting at the Pentagon shows where their hearts are!(MIA)

Ask Rumbow and KKKarl to donate, they both got one of those $90,000.00 taxcut checks I'll bet! That is, if there is any left over after the $2,000.00 Bush Hot Dog dinners!
