I spent a good couple of hours last night searching for evidence that he had had surgery and turned up nothing. He did start golfing at about the same time he was supposed to have had that failed back surgery that left him in so much pain.
He was out for a week in late November/early December 1998 and explained it as being for a minor surgery that got infected. If it was surgery on the cyst it was technically on his back. I didn't read his statement when he went off to rehab last week--did he say what kind of back surgery he had or just "back surgery?"
Rush is uninsured (by choice) and thus would presumedly pay cash for any treatment. Since this procedure wouldn't need to be reported he could literally go in under any name he wished to any place he wished and get the surgery. He also may not have missed any work at all or may have called it a vacation.
10. It would be nice to prove he didn't have surgery, another kick in the
balls for the Lardball lemmings. Think about this, you have so much pain from this "alleged" back surgery that it requires THOUSANDS of narcotic pills. And in the midst of all this physical misery, the addict takes up GOLF? That fat fucker is lying!:spank:
The doper with talent on loan from God, plays a lot of golf. I don't think you could do this with two herniated discs, even if you were loaded with hillbilly heroin.
13. I have two herniated discs, and it wasn't until recently
that I was able to resume recreational walking, this 14 months after the second disc blew. Golf? I'd be on the surgeon's slab after a couple of holes. I have some friends who have disc problems, and they quit golfing as a result. I think this is Rush BS.
