Question about Dispensationalism/Christian Reconstruction

Why then, are they so obsessed with imposing Mosaic Law on the world?

Mosaic law, in Christian disguise, provides a great cover for control, manipulation and fear. These Republicans are not the Golden Rule types, nor are they ones who offer forgiveness. They are the scribes and pharisees of our time. Notice how they do not support feeding the needy, giving clothes to the poor or any other of Jesus' directives.

Mainly, fundamentalist dispensationalists don't so much think of themselves as espousing Mosaic law so much as they consider themselves the protectors of Israel. It is a common dispensationalist belief that in the end-times Israel will stand alone and God will judge all nations according to how they treat Israel. They believe that any step in the direction of demanding Justice for the Palestinians is tantamount to demanding the destruction of Israel and inviting the wrath of Jesus.

Of course, there are better ways to spend your time than arguing logic with a fundamentalist.

Though they are both right wing christians. Dispensationalists are evangelicals, Pentocostilists, and Baptists. Christian Reconstructionists are conservative calvinists, Prebyterians, and the Church of Christ. Christian Reconstructionist are not involved in the Christian Zionist movement.
