Most Explosive Black Box Voting Chapter Yet -- Chapter 9 is UP
This one has quite a bit of information you haven't seen yet, and ends with a twist.

Allow a few moments for download, there are graphics.

2. Bev, you're braking my heart.
I guess I'll have to buy the book or wait for future chapters to come out.

I thought we HAD the robgeorgia file? Have we had a programing specialist take a look at it to see what it does? Last time I asked you told me to wait for the book, it would all be in there.

You have me absolutely convinced about the need for hard-copy voting records (though I disagree that the machines are any more prone to tampering than other systems we've used historically). AND you've convinced me that dramatically insufficient security protocols were in place by the companies in question.

BUT have we actually shown any evidence that someone was elected with these machines who should have lost? Not speculation, or interesting numbers vs. polls, or the possibility that someone COULD have cheated (that's been done with the older systems as well). Some reason to believe that the books were actually cooked. This is red meat here and I've got to have a bite.

3. Awww, Frodo --
sorry to disappoint you; perhaps you can write your own book, and in it, make sure to put your "red meat" in Chapter 9 of 14 so you can have a five-chapter anticlimax.

7. Bev has demonstrated
motive, means and opportunity. A signed confession from Wally O'Dell is a lot harder.

She has demonstrated that Diebold's security is a sham and that they defrauded taxpayers by misrepresenting their product.

She nailed Hagel.

She found Rob and brought his story out.

She's worked with everybody here to change BBV from something no one has heard of, to something that makes every election offical in the country curse her name.

What else does she need to prove? <g>

10. Yeah. Why is it that it takes only a few of us to prove
Edited on Thu Oct-16-03 04:14 PM by BevHarris
motive, opportunity, vested interests, squirrely results

But it will take hundreds of us to prove our vote was counted correctly?

We are up to 425 black box activists today!!!

4. Altercation: Voting Scandal Brewing
Seen this yet?

http://www.msnbc.com/news/752664.asp

There’s the possibility of an enormous scandal brewing with the GOP using voter technology stealing votes. I can’t tell if they’re doing it yet or just getting ready to do it—or to be able to do it if they need to. And don’t tell me they’re above that kind of thing. If these guys cared about honest elections, I’d be whining about President Gore in this space. Anyway, read the extremely disturbing story above.

5. This is a rehash of the excellent article in the Independent
It's an opinions piece. But there is a story about to break. Not instantly, but soon.
