The post office has a new holiday stamp out for Eid-ul-fitr, which looks like this:


Wouldn't this be great stuck to your "Happy Holidays" Christmas cards for all your fundy friends?

holiday stamps of all sorts. She was genuinely confused by Eid. Had to spell it out when she asked about it. Didn't know how to pronounce itThe lady at the counter didn't know much more. Said it was a holiday "of some sort".

UUUURRRGG!

A little cultural literacy would go a long way.

and I'm talking about the two family nutcases as well as fundy ex co workers. It would be worth getting a sheet of 4 cent stamps to go with them.

17. Reminds me of the joke someone posted here a couple of months ago...
Person overheard an old lady saying she wished they had a Bush stamp. When it was pointed out that the Post Office didn't issue stamps depicting a president until they died, she responded, "Exactly."
